Abstract
People of today are beginning to realize the importance of oral hygiene and as a result are trying to preserve the tissues in the mouth be keeping them in as healthy condition as possible. It is a known fact that an unclean mouth and tissues of the mouth causes serious conflict in the general health of an individual. Thus preventative measures are taken by the person who values his health in order to maintain healthy conditions of the oral cavity. Because this is true the laity always ask the following question: "What dentifrice should I use that will not harm the structures of my mouth?" The dentist is not always in a position to answer this question intelligently in every incident.
