Abstract
The following is a History of Intramural Athletics at Marquette University, divided into three divisions, the Past, Present and Future. The purpose of this is to trace and show how Intramurals were in the Past; how they have improved; what they are at Present; and what they should be in the Future.
The Past is concerned with the Intramurals dating from 1915 up to 1932. The Present is focused on the Intramurals of Marquette University during the years of 1933 and 1934. The Future is the writer's concept of how the Program can and should be carried out.
Information regarding the Past, was obtained from Marquette University Enthusiasts of that time; from the Marquette University Journals; and from the Marquette University Hilltops or Annuals. Information regarding the Future was secured through personal contact with and study of comparison between Intramurals at Marquette University and the Intramurals of other schools.
