Abstract
The popular conception of dramatic criticism to the majority of people and oftentimes producers and directors is that the dramatic critic seems a spiritless person whose interest leads him only into judgment and away from performance. Another cause for head shaking is the simple fact that one man assumes the right to pass judgment on his peers, to say nothing of his betters.
