Abstract
The Turkish Nationalist movement which triumphed at Lausanne in 1922, like other historical events, had its roots extending back into the past. New conditions offered better prospects to Mustafa Kemal, than had lain before Enver, Tal’at and Javid, or before Midhat, or before Mahmud II and Selim III.
