Abstract
Most of the Information which I have been able to amass has been taken from text books dealing with the kidney as an excretory organ only. My bibliography, therefore, covers a rather limited field. In it there will be found no articles in the various journals as my endeavors to find any such articles on my particular subject have not met with success. My thesis does not only contain a comprehensive account of the kidney, its weight and size, but also an account of its shape, size and correlation in growth and size to the age and weight of the animals from which the organs were taken.
