In this thesis my problem is to compare the philosophy of Seneca and the philosophy of Bacon. In the development of this subject, we shall consider first the life of Seneca and his philosophy, and then the life of Bacon and his philosophy. Finally a comparison in regard to their views on God, the nature of man, friendship, and nature, shall be made.
