Abstract
Ab a comparatively recent addition to our public school curriculum, the function of current events is probably not as well known as that of the older studies in the curriculum. The author wishes to set forth, therefore, the importance of a knowledge of current events, the necessity of and various methods of teaching current events, and the use of current events as an aid to teaching other school subjects.
To this end he had delved into the many books and magazine articles on the subject and presents in this volume his findings, with the hope that they will be of interest and benefit to the reader.
