Abstract

This paper examines the competitive condition of the electronic data processing (EDP) industry. As a basis for the analysis, three major types of competitive indicators were employed. These relate to the following:

1. The industry's market structure.

2. Behavior or conduct of the participants in the industry.

3. Performance of the companies in the industry.
