Abstract
Non-ohmic behavior and amplification of ultrasonic waves in strongly piezoelectric crystals have been known for sometime . (1,2,3) These effects have been observed under the influence of a strong, DC, electric field, primarily in photoconductive Cds, semiconducting Cds, and semiconducting zno crystals .
