Abstract
There is little doubt today that policemen are receiving much criticism from many sources: from within their own ranks, the press, and even the citizens they serve. Particularly troubled are the metropolitan cities, especially the ghettoes filled with victims suffering from discrimination, unemployment, and poverty. These are the people who are expecially dissatisfied with their "civil protectors."
