Abstract
"Son, you have four years to prepare yourself for life. Get to it!" This might be the cry of an anxious parent as he sends his son off to college. College today is the largest single pastime for our nation's youth. There are close to five million students attending the 1,823 institutions of higher learning in the United States. By 1973, there will be a predicted eight million students between the ages of eighteen and twenty-three who are seeking the "road to success" by earning a college degree. Along with the prestige of a college education goes the mounting pressure to succeed in the college of their choice.
