Abstract

The purpose of this research paper is to determine the agreement or lack of it in the aims of religion courses and methods used to attain them within Lutheran high schools. Questionnaires were sent to the principals of all private Wisconsin and Missouri Synod Lutheran high schools and to a representative sampling of synodical high schools within these two synods. Thirty-four questionnaires were sent; twenty-eight replies were received, representing almost 90% of the full four-year high schools surveyed.
