Abstract

This study is concerned with the role of the school in promoting spiritual growth in the individual and how counseling can be used as a means toward this achievement. The term "spiritual growth" as used here is meant to denote the development of an awareness of the animating or the lifegiving force in man. This task can be facilitated and encourage by educators. Many students feel that the counselor is the person to see when they have problems. So often teachers and counselors work together in solving student-related problems.
