Abstract

When dealing with an unconditionally convergent series, one finds that no matter how its terms are arranged it converges to one and the same limit. Hence the limit depends on the terms themselves alone rather than on how they are arranged. Then, there is no reason why one cannot talk about series of this type by considering the subscripts of the terms as a set with no ordering, rather than a sequence. In this paper the objective is precisely to show that this can be done.
